Understanding Extreme Heat
C-HEAT is a collaborative research project between GreenRoots and Boston University focused on heat exposure, public health, and community resilience.
What we do
C-HEAT collects and analyzes temperature and environmental data, partners with community organizations, and develops tools and resources to help residents and policymakers respond to extreme heat.
Why this matters
Extreme heat is an increasing public health risk, especially in communities facing environmental and economic challenges. C-HEAT focuses on understanding these impacts and supporting solutions that protect vulnerable populations.
